Cabin Getaway

We finally had the chance to take our little one up to our family cabin with some friends this past weekend. He had a great time! He adjusted to the altitude and new sleeping space just fine. Mama was excited that she could dress him in warm & cozy clothes that we don't get to wear at home! The weather was a nice respite from the heat. We had a fun time eating, playing cards, birdwatching and going for a walk by the lake. It actually felt more like a hike to me, and I was aware of how much healing has yet to happen in my leg. Please keep praying for this. Hopefully we'll get up to the cabin again soon! A weekend is never long enough...
