Sunny So Cal
Greetings from sunny southern California! So far we have enjoyed 2 beautiful days at the beach. Our son totally surprised us yesterday by charging into the waves for the first time. He loved running back and forth into the water, yelling "Come, Come!" as he ran into the waves. He even fell over a couple of times and came up smiling.
We are fortunate to be renting a unit in a great resort, where my brother and his family are also staying. So that means we get to hang out with family and our son can play with his cousins, who we rarely get to see! Today we spent some time down at the pool, where again, we were surprised at how quickly our little guy took to the water. He hasn't been in a pool since last summer, but after only 15-20 min. of "warming up", he was already going back and forth between us, and eventually jumping in from the side to us! We definitely have a little fish on our hands.
