Going Back to Cali...

We recently had the privilege of visiting with some dear friends of ours who moved a few states away about a year ago. We have really missed them! They have been a part of my life for 12 years now, and we have walked through a lot of life changes together. However one big change that happened since they've moved is having our baby girl & becoming a family of 4. So this was the first time for almost everyone in their family to meet our daughter. (their mom got a quick visit back in January on our girls' weekend).

After our daughter was born, their 3 girls (who are so creative and love to make crafts of all sorts) designed and hand-sewed an adorable stuffed bunny which they mailed to us. It was such a special gift and very fun to our little girl to finally meet the girls who made it for her.

Needless to say, we had a great time visiting and catching up, although the time went by much too fast! We are actually planning to drive out to see them next...which should be interesting as we've never attempted to go further than 5-6 hours in the car with our kiddos!

But it should be worth it to hang out with these fun & crazy folks...
