4 month old

Here's our 4 month old!  Time is flying with this little one.  She is growing by leaps and bounds!
She is a very happy baby, with lots of smiles for everyone, especially Mama.  She is easy-going, often naps on the go, and goes along with our busy pace of life.  We often comment on how this third child just doesn't have all the luxuries that our first, and even second child had: being laid down for naps, & having a calm and quiet atmosphere for feedings (I wish I got paid for each time I've nursed this baby in the car between errands, with other kids screaming in the backseat...)  Little A is unfazed by it, and just happily does her thing.

She is not yet rolling over, but she can get up on her side.  She loves to play in her baby gym, laying on her back and grabbing her animals.  She wants to bring them into her mouth, just like everything, these days.  She definitely sucks on her fingers and thumb more than our others did.  None of our kids have really been "thumb-suckers" yet, so we wonder if she will be our first!

She is sleeping fantastically at night, and we recently transitioned her to sleeping in her big brother's room (instead of ours) at night.  So far, they are doing very well together.  She will usually wake up once, towards 4-5am for a feeding, then laid back down for some more sleep before we take brother to school.  Like our other kids, she likes to be swaddled!

Her latest trick is blowing bubbles and razzing at us.  She is so funny, because it is like she is trying to communicate with us through doing this.  If we look at her and start talking, she gets this look on her face like she is really concentrating, purses her lips together, and "Ppppbbbfff!" spits all over the place. She thinks it's great fun (so do we!)

We are so grateful and thankful for her health and development.
We look forward to watching her little personality come out!
