His Little Lamb

For Halloween, we decided to dress our son up as a lamb. When I was pregnant, I wanted to include the lamb theme in his room. Somehow that didn't really work out, but I'm still attached to the idea that our son is God's lamb, and that God is His Shepherd, looking after him so carefully and lovingly. My sis-in-law gave us a lamb hat and matching booties when he was born, so they made the beginning of the outfit.

I got my sewing machine out from the back of my closet, and exercised my rusty sewing skills to make the rest of his costume. It took a few hours, but in the end, it was worth it! Here's the finished product. Too bad I didn't get a photo of the cute little tail...
