Teething and Tests
Well, I have no photos or video to go along with this entry, but I wanted to share some family news...
First of all, my husband passed his State Board Exams!!! yeay! For those of you who have been praying for us, thank you. It is so nice to have that over with, and not hanging over our heads anymore. I look forward to relaxing evenings and weekends together as a family, with NO studying!!! Dear hubby is also happy that he is practicing as a true PT now. His name is even on the clinic's door!
And, after a month of a little-less-than-happy son, today I finally felt the sharp edge of a tooth cutting through! wow, I really hope this is the end of a long wait. (and that he will go back to napping regularly!) He has actually been quite a trooper. No one else can really tell that he's teething, but Mama knows that he's not quite as smiley as usual.
Our little one is cruising all around the house these days. We've really got to get serious about 'baby-proofing' this weekend. His latest trick is throwing a small toy (thanks Auntie Wens), then crawling after it. Its like watching a cat with a ball. Hillarious, and really sweet that he is so entertained by something so simple. He is just so curious these days. Any drawer he can pull, or door he can open, he is there. He's knocked over one house plant so far. Although it requires more close attention on our part, it is fun to see his curiosity and interest in interacting with everything around him.
