Smiley Faces

So you know what this post has to be about, right? While our daughter has been bringing a smile to our faces for the past 8 weeks, it's only been the last week and a half that she's been working on her own smile. It's been tricky to capture it on film, because apparently the camera is a strange and scary thing which usually produces a furrowed brow or bug-eyes when it comes out).

After some effort, finally here are a few good smile shots. It helps that she adores her brother and for some reason, gives him the best smiles (even though he attacks her half of the time!). Go figure. It actually is amazing to see the connection that these siblings already seem to have with each other. And the more she grows, the more she seems to resemble him. (I'll do another post comparing baby photos later.)



While our little girl is napping, our son has been helping me in the kitchen. We made a pizza for dinner the other night, and do you know what? It's smiling too!
