This is the best word I can think of to describe our almost 9 month old. She is completely undaunted by anything, which I suppose is great in some ways but also is cause for worry in this mama heart.
Way before our other kids were mobile, this one is crawling, pulling her self up to standing whenever she can, cruising on low furniture and people's legs, and basically just getting into everything!! Nothing is safe anymore and we are scrambling to keep up with her tricks. We weren't quite ready to baby-proof everything at 8 months! Most everything goes in her mouth also. Following our family's track record, no sign of any teeth yet, but lots of drool everywhere.
She is just a really active baby and doesn't like to sit still for long. Unfortunately for us, not much of a snuggler either. She wants to move. If she sees something she wants, she is off and going for it. And if you take it away (if it's unsafe, etc.) she fusses for it. She isn't easily distracted from it. I think we may have our work cut out for us!
Here are some photos of our mobile and active girl:

Like her achi, shoes are a favorite |

She devours paper and magazines, anything she can pull down |

Gimme, gimme, gimme! |

Apparently the coffee table tastes good |

When can I do the dishes? |

We love to see this face smiling up at us |
