Beach Getaway

Some gracious friends of ours invited us to join them for a weekend at the beach, and we took them up on it! It was a much-needed trip away from my normal routines and some of the stress we've been under. The weather was gorgeous, and I got a long nap, a seafood dinner, and a chance to relax on the beach. Our son was too skittish to venture into the crashing waves (which I don't blame him, they were quite large & loud), but he had a great time digging in the sand. He also really enjoyed playing with (& following around) the other kids. If only the weekend could've lasted a little longer!
