The "De-Churched"
I've never heard the term, de-churched before, but I followed a link on the desiring god blog tonight and found this very interesting video clip. I think it's very relevant and true, what Matt Chandler is saying. I think I grew up in a church like the one he's describing, and now it makes more sense why many people I grew up in church with have walked away from their faith. I'd like to know what you think about it too.

Thanks for sharing that. I would agree wholeheartedly. This sort of thing has really permeated evangelicalism (sometimes it's subtle, but it's still there...just do the right thing(s) and it will all work out blah, blah, blah. I've read enough books about how to be a good Christian wife and mommy to choke a horse and I think I actually got worse.
